I’m Kalpana Shah, an Accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Curtin University and a strong interest in Business Law. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked as a tax accountant, supporting a wide range of small businesses — including sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and companies. My expertise spans general ledger management, payroll, BAS preparation, and tax return lodgements for diverse entities.

My professional journey began much earlier — between 2000 and 2014, I successfully owned and managed several businesses, including childcare centres and an IGA supermarket. This hands-on entrepreneurial background gives me a unique perspective on the real challenges business owners face — from day-to-day financial pressures to long-term growth planning. I understand that success depends on accurate records, regular reporting, and clear insights into your business’s financial health.

After taking a career break to raise my two children, I returned to the workforce as an accountant, determined to combine my business experience with my passion for helping others thrive financially.
